ALSO Strengthens Management in Nordic Countries

ALSO Group takes the next step in its process of strengthening its regional footprint in the Nordic countries: Espen Zachariassen, previously responsible for ALSO Norway, will assume overall responsibility for the customer business in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The new management structure will help enhancing the contact to customers and vendors in the region as well as improving the cross-border cooperation of employees.

Since many years ALSO is working successfully as technology provider in the Nordic countries. To further strengthen ALSO in this region, the country organizations will cooperate more closely in the future and receive a new and optimized management structure: Starting 1 October 2019, the current local chief customer officers will report to Espen Zachariassen, who will take over the regional responsibility for the overall customer business of ALSO in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. This new management structure will enable ALSO to expand the established centers of competence into powerful cross-border working units, make its processes more efficient and further integrate and optimize its services to the benefit of its customers and vendors.

Espen Zachariassen (49) has been working for ALSO Group since 1996, when he joined Actebis AS which was merged with ALSO in 2011. Having served in numerous positions within the company, Espen has a profound knowledge of the local market and was appointed as head of the Norwegian country organization in 2016.

“I am looking forward to working even more closely with Espen”, says Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO of ALSO Holding AG (SIX:ALSN). “With his many years of experience, his expertise and his enthusiasm, he will support our clients the best way possible and provide important growth impulses for our business”.
