Peatselt saabumas - uus Elitebook X360 1040 G5

We designed a 14” diagonal screen in a smaller 13” chassis, decreasing the chassis footprint by 10% and narrowing the bezels 39% on the sides and the chin of the display. No more compromise between portability & a large screen!

14" DESIGN EXERCISE

A powerful notebook with Intel® Quad-Core™ processors in a ultra-thin and light design, with a 14” diagonal display crafted into a 13” chassis. As we redesigned this newest x360 in our Elite lineup – everything changed. Commercial hinges designed with tighter tolerances to maintain wireless performance in tablet mode.

INCREDIBLE DISPLAY EXPERIENCE

With 62% of the workforce claiming to work from more than one location, mobile users need to be able to work anywhere – which includes outdoor areas and brightly lit rooms. They shouldn’t have to shield their screens from the light/sun to see their work. Unfortunately, bright natural light can reduce visibility and destroy productivity.

That’s why the HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 was designed with the an incredibly bright outdoor viewable display.

Using etched-glass enables us to provide a an elegant anti-glare solution for touch displays. The etched glass not only removes the glare from the display, it’s also a very durable solution when using the pen compared to other anti-glare methods in today's industry.

Ultra-bright displays also help the display remain visible in bright sunlight. Up to 700 nit brightness enables beautifully clear visibility, even in bright ambient light. Available on the FHD IPS 700 nit Sure View Anti-Glare (WWAN version introduced in November).

Ambient Light Sensors automatically adjust brightness in different environments to maintain the best visibility.

HP PREMIUM AND HP SECURITY GO HAND IN HAND

HP creates this root of trust with our HP Endpoint Security Controller, and we’ve been doing this for many years.

The HP Endpoint Security Controller is the actual hardware component that enables HP Sure Start (the industry’s first and only self-healing BIOS) – and it has been integrated into our Elite PCs since 2014.

From its own physically isolated and cryptographically protected hardware, the HP Endpoint Security Controller can monitor your system, and step into action when it sees anything out of order – just like a guard in a watchtower.

When we implemented HP Sure Start, it gave us the ability to secure the PC starting BELOW the OS, in the BIOS. The BIOS is a critical firmware component that is at the very foundation of our entire security stack. Having a secure BIOS means your PC is secure from the very foundation.

This unique hardware is at the core of our security architecture. This is an important differentiator that enables us to harden our security stack, anchoring our solutions in trusted hardware.

We are also using the HP Endpoint Security Controller to make reimaging easier, with HP Sure Recover.

Having a fast, efficient way to reimage machines is important – because reimaging can be a painful process, costing your customer hours of lost productivity. HP Sure Recover enables secure, automated, network-based image recovery to make the entire process faster and easier.

Now, HP Sure Recover with Embedded Reimaging offers all of the benefits of HP Sure Recover, plus it enables you to recover automatically anytime, anywhere – without a network connection, backup media, or IT help.

It does this by saving a copy of the image (OS) directly to the protected HP Endpoint Security Controller. So you can reimage quickly anywhere – from a hotel room, to an airplane.

BEST-IN-CLASS COLLABORATION EXPERIENCE

With collaboration being a big trend in today's world, we are available anywhere, anytime. Today's technology has the performance that allows us to consume, create and share from any device in our personal and work environment.

Therefore, we developed and integrated the required features into our Elite Portfolio.

It is time to remove fixed telephone solutions and use your notebook as your true collaboration companion.

The Premium Speaker have an up-firing, enhanced, crisp audio quality for meeting the collaboration needs. 76dB equals 'living room music' and allows a small to medium sized meeting room to conference using only the notebook.

The World Facing Microphone (3rd mic) is designed with 2 goals in mind: First, it can act as a noise cancelling microphone and suppress ambient noise like nearby conversation, keyboard noised, coffee machines or crying kids. Secondly, it can act as a voice capturing microphone up to a 4m range ensuring everyone at the table to be heard. You can switch between those settings in the B&O Audio Control Panel.

→ Your notebook will have an ‘integrated speaker phone’. No need for the accessory anymore! You can use this as an added value to justify the price premium.

PEN

The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 will come with the more precise pen (4096 pressure points),

with higher accuracy enhanced for tilt detection and with a USB-C port that can be used to charge the pen.

Both pen and unit have a strong magnet

allowing the pen to be “fixed” on the side.

Additionally, users will receive an alert on their notebook

if they leave the room without their paired pen.
