Software for 3D printing: ALSO expands its portfolio even further

The range of products and solutions for 3D printing is becoming more and more comprehensive. Now the technology provider is adding three new software products to its range.

VoxelDance Additive and VoxelDance Tango are a set of powerful software for 3D print data preparation. VoxelDance Additive is ideal for industrial technologies such as SLM, SLA, SLS and DLP. It covers vertical applications including rapid prototyping, plastic/metal dentistry, jewellery, healthcare or industrial moulds; VoxelDance Tango is a trending product in LCD/DLP world especially among high end consumer marketing and resin dental industry. The solutions from VoxelDance have self-proven over past few years among both printer manufacturers and end users, which brought the company rapid growing market share in the industry. They are obsessed with the idea of enhancing the applications by algorithms.

ParaMatters offers a digital manufacturing software platform DMCP (Digital Manufacturing Control Processing) that offers digital factories an enterprise software platform that focuses on four core areas of software capability. Materials management integrated with design and topology optimization, additive software with additive workflow, and inspection capability that offers closed loop processing for design and additive manufacturing giving a factory the capability to build better product. Today ParaMatters provides support for many verticals from dental/medical through aerospace and industrial, and offers customers individual products that will integrate into the (DMCP) platform. This gives Digital Factories the ability to ‘grow as you go’ with modular software solutions that are building blocks for digital factory operations. Each of the standalone products can be used independently and added as needed into the DMCP (Digital Manufacturing Control Processing) framework. ParaMatters is a perfect solution for digital factory operations that are looking to reduce operational cost and build better products.

Both products are already available from ALSO. In addition, the inclusion of 3YOURMIND's Agile PLM software helps companies identify printable AM parts from existing part catalogues and provides technology and material recommendations for print production. The centralised platform makes collaboration easy by enabling AM experts and non-experts to suggest AM use cases based on easy-to-understand part assessment and qualification data. As a result, companies can spend up to 80% less time identifying AM use cases, which helps organizations build their AM part libraries faster than ever before.

Stefan Mannhardt, European Solution Business Manager 3D Printing at ALSO: “3D printing has reached a new stage of development. Our comprehensive portfolio, which ranges from data generation to manufacturing and post-processing, shows the maturity of the technology. The undisputed advantages in terms of flexibility, speed and sustainability will drive much more intensive use.”
