Do you know how to secure your login data?

With our new 2-Step-Login we ensure your security when logging into our Webshop. Why we do this? Quite simply, your safety is very important to us.

Did you know that many cyber attacks are committed daily all over the world? In some cases only one click is enough for hackers to take advantage and cause major damage. We therefore protect your account by the implementation of Multi Factor Authentication.

Our MFA is quite easy to set up and offers effective protection to secure your account so to avoid e.g. that a fraudulent party uses your login credentials to order products on your costs.

Reset your MFA

Are you experiencing problems with the MFA code?

Then ask the customer administrator in your organization to reset your MFA.

If you are not sure who your customer administrator is, ask colleagues internally. They can find out who is the administrator role by checking their account in the Webshop as shown on the illustration.

If this does not work, or if you are the only customer administrator, please contact ecommerce.benelux@also.com.

Set up your MFA after the reset

Step 1: Login to the ALSO-Webshop

Please login with your email address and password.

Step 2: Scan the QR-code

Open the authenticator of your use and scan the QR-code. If your “old code” is still available, please delete this one first to avoid confusion.

Step 3: Enter your personal MFA code

Enter the generated code in your authenticator in the field below the QR-code and press enter.

Step 4: Go to the shop

Press the button: Go to the shop and you will have access again.

Administrators

Managing MFA in your company

As the administrator of your company you can easily check this in the user administration in your webshop account.

By having all user accounts under your own control, you are no longer dependent on the ALSO staff and can easily make changes to your own account.

If you do not yet have a customer administrator in your organization, contact your ALSO Account Manager or send an email to xxx@also.com.

Delete users

Has an employee left the organization The administrator can delete or block the user account.

Adjust roles

Does an employee need other webshop rights? The administrator can modify this.

Is an employee temporarily unavailable? The administrator can (temporarily) block and activate users

QuestionThe solution
I entered the one-time code incorrectly Scan the QR code again in the MFA app and enter the correct one-time code the first time .
Can MFA be configured with multiple cell phones or used together with the browser extension? Technically it is possible to secure the setup QR code and use it to setup on multiple authenticator apps/devices, but it is recommended to only setup MFA on one device per person.
My one-time code is invalid Most problems with the one-time code are due to inaccurate time settings on the PC or smartphone. Check with a website like https://time.is For the https://time.is example, the exact deviation is displayed in the upper left corner. If the deviation is more than 2 seconds, these errors occur. Then please set "Time from network" (or similar) in the system setting.Another column
What happens if I have MFA reset by ALSO? You will be contacted by ALSO via the telephone number stored in the ALSO ERP/CRM and must be verified. The email stored in the user account is also checked for correctness.MFA will then be reset and you will receive an email to reset your password. You can then reset the password via the link and reconfigure MFA as usual.
