ALSO adds The Voice of O365 to its Cloud Marketplace
ALSO is expanding its Cloud Marketplace with The Voice of O365, a unique enterprise voice hosted service. It offers Microsoft Office 365 (Business Premium, E3 and E5 Plan) users and their organizations the ability to use Skype for Business Online (formerly Microsoft Lync 2010/13) as a true private branch exchange (PBX) in the cloud.
The Voice of O365 adds Public Switched Telephony Network (PSTN) access to Microsoft Office 365, enabling users to make phone calls with an existing Skype for Business license (part of Office 365) as they are accustomed to with their present PBX or hosted voice service. By adding The Voice of O365 license, the user has access to all call control functions. Moreover, users can continue to use their current phone numbers. Beyond PSTN access, The Voice of O365 also offers Contact Center software, Automated Attendant software, and Mobile Presence software, allowing Skype for Business online to be considered as a true PBX replacement.
