Based on the 10 universal principles and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the UN Global Compact pursues the vision of an inclusive and sustainable economy.

The 10 principles cover the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and the prevention of corruption. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals build on these.
