Despite the fact that with roughly CHF 10 million ALSO Switzerland and ALSO Germany combined will post a much higher half-year profit than in the previous year (2006: CHF 6.8 million) the ALSO Group will incur a consolidated loss of CHF 7 to CHF 9 million for the first half year 2007. The negative group result is due to a substantial loss by the Swedish subsidiary. Thus, ALSO will in this context evaluate all strategic options for GNT Sweden, including a sale of this company. ALSO Group will publish details on the bi-annual financial statements and the prospects for the whole year on August 10, 2007.
