| ALSO enlarges Group Management | |

Hergiswil (Switzerland), June 16, 2009 In view of the challenges in the difficult economic environment ALSO Holding’s Board of Directors has decided do enlarge the Group management and has nominated Lucas Kuttler, current Group CIO of Schindler, to take over the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective July 1, 2009. Lucas Kuttler (43, lic.oec. HSG) has many years of management experience and a broad knowledge, particularly in the execution of complex IT projects. As of July 1, 2009, the ALSO Group management will thus be composed as follows: Thomas C. Weissmann (CEO), Lucas Kuttler (COO), Laisvunas Butkus (Baltics), Michael Dressen (Germany and Norway), Marc Schnyder (Switzerland), Maija Strandberg (Finland), Urs Windler (CFO), Peter Zurbrügg (CIO).
